The Flood Warning continues for
the Cottonwood River at New Ulm.
* At 2:00 PM Sunday the stage was 10.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by tonight and continue to rise
to near 12.3 feet by Wednesday evening. Additional rises are
possible thereafter.
* Impact... at 13.0 feet... Cottonwood street west of the river becomes
flooded.
* Flood history... this level compares to a previous crest of 13.9 feet
on Mar 14 2007.

* At 1:00 PM Sunday the stage was 13.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise to near 21.6 feet Friday evening
March 19th. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact... at 22.0 feet... dike patrolling begins in Mankato.
* Flood history... this level compares to a previous crest of 18.9 feet
on Apr 10 2006.
