Synopsis For The Southern Oregon Coastal Waters
A strong cold front north of Cape Blanco will lift northward late this evening as a wave of low pressure forms along it. This will cause gale force winds to surge northward overnight...and then the cold front will push onto the coast Friday morning. In addition to heavy rain and gale force winds...large and very steep seas will continue over the waters. Friday afternoon winds will diminish substantially as large west swell continues to move in. Saturday afternoon through Sunday high pressure will build in...but a front will brush northwest sections on Sunday.
