Synopsis
A low pressure system will move east along the northeast Gulf Coast and dissipate today and tonight...allowing winds and seas to gradually subside and the rain to end. The coastal waters will be under the influence of Continental high pressure for the remainder of the work week...resulting in offshore winds. Winds and seas will likely increase Thursday as higher pressure builds to the north.

Protected waters a moderate chop to choppy...decreasing to a light to moderate chop. Winds and seas higher neat scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. A few storms could be strong to severe this morning.

West wind around 10 knots. Seas decreasing to 3 to 5 feet. Protected waters smooth to a light chop. A slight chance of rain in the evening.

Monday
Northwest wind 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet...except 1 to 2 feet in Apalachee Bay. Protected waters smooth.

Monday Night
North wind 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Protected waters smooth.

Tuesday
