Synopsis
A weak cold front could approach the coastal waters of deep south Texas late today resulting in a shift of the winds from the south to the north to northwest. The northerly surface winds will persist into Thursday and Friday with a southerly wind returning Friday night into Saturday and Sunday as a surface high shifts further east over the Gulf of Mexico. The southerly flow may strengthen to near Small Craft Advisory levels on Sunday.
