... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 4 am to 2 PM MST
Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Winter Weather
Advisory for snow and blowing snow in the Boise and west central
mountains area... which is in effect from 4 am to 2 PM MST Sunday.
The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.

Moderate to heavy snow amounts are likely with 2 to 4 inches on
valley floors and with 6 to 10 inches expected in the mountains
Sunday. Increasing west to southwest winds behind the cold front
Sunday will likely cause poor visibility at times in blowing and
drifting snow above 3500 feet.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and
blowing snow. Use caution when traveling... especially in open
areas.
