Through 930 am...showers of moderate rainfall will continue to impact portions of the Lower Keys and the immediate adjoining nearshore Gulf and Atlantic waters. Mariners inside the reef between Looe Key and Sand Key light will encounter brief heavy showers accompanied by visibility less than 2 nm...and wind gusts to near 20 knots. Over land...locations from Sugar Loaf key to Key West will receive up to an additional half of an inch of rainfall. Motorists should use caution this morning when driving on the local streets and the overseas Highway along this stretch of islands due to ponding of water in normally for drainage areas. Movement of individual showers is to the north near 10 mph.
