Synopsis For The Suwannee River To Destin Out To 60 Nm
Synopsis
Dense sea fog is expected to persist across the marine legs east of Apalachicola during the rest of tonight. Onshore winds will begin to pick up across the marine legs west of Apalachicola and preclude a dense fog threat there. Showers and thunderstorms are expected in advance of a strong cold front mostly Tuesday night into early Wednesday. Some storms may be strong or possibly severe. Exercise caution conditions will commence on Tuesday...with Small Craft Advisory conditions Tuesday night and Wednesday ahead and along the front. Similar conditions are expected in its wake during Wednesday as high pressure builds over the Gulf. Sustained winds will peak over 25 knots and gale force gusts will be possible. Offshore winds will quickly diminish Wednesday night and remain below headline criteria until Saturday when onshore winds ahead of the next front are forecast to again generate exercise caution conditions.
