Synopsis
A high pressure ridge axis across central Florida will will retreat towards the south and east today. Conditions will deteriorate late tonight and Wednesday as winds increase out of the south-southwest in response to an intensifying low pressure system moving toward the eastern Great Lakes. Showers and isolated storms will be possible over the Atlantic by Wednesday afternoon as a cold front pushes through central Florida. Gusty offshore winds are expected Wednesday night. Surface high pressure will build toward the state by late week allowing for light winds to start the weekend.
